Being alone makes you realize that no one is a necessity. That you will eventually be okay without them- that all you have is yourself. But that’s okay. But then… its not.
The void that everyone feels, longs for the interactions of others. You want to feel love, loved, desired for, needed but those are all selfish thoughts. They center around the idea of ‘me’. I want this, I want that.
Selfishness is what drives the need for others.
Selfishness is what tears us apart.
If I rid my selfish ways, maybe I’ll be alone but not lonely. The two don’t have to go hand in hand.
